Three generations of woodworking knowledge, refined into furniture that stands the test of time.
Where It Began
In 2014, Luca Ferrero made a decision that many considered impractical. He left a secure position in industrial manufacturing to establish a workshop dedicated exclusively to handcrafted furniture.
The motivation was personal. Growing up in his grandfather's workshop in the hills of Veneto, Luca learned that furniture could be more than functional objects. In the right hands, wood becomes an expression of care, a bridge between past and future.
His grandfather's tools still hang on our workshop walls. Not as decorations, but as working instruments that continue to shape the pieces we create today.
What Guides Our Work
Material Honesty
We work only with solid wood. No veneers, no particleboard, no composite materials. When you run your hand across a Casa Legno piece, you touch genuine timber all the way through.
Traditional Joinery
Mortise and tenon. Dovetails. Wooden pegs. These techniques have proven themselves over centuries. We use them not from nostalgia, but because they create the strongest, most durable connections.
Sustainable Sourcing
Every board we use comes from managed forests in the Alps and Dolomites. We maintain direct relationships with foresters who share our commitment to responsible harvesting.
One Piece at a Time
We do not maintain inventory. Each piece is made to order, allowing us to select wood specifically suited to your project and to customise dimensions to your exact requirements.
The Team
Our workshop employs twenty-three craftspeople. Some joined us straight from technical schools, eager to learn traditional methods rarely taught in modern curricula. Others came to us with decades of experience, seeking a place where quality takes precedence over volume.
What unites them is a shared belief: that making something well is its own reward, and that the objects we create will outlast us all.
Our Process
Every commission begins with conversation. We want to understand not just what you need, but how you live. A dining table for a family with young children requires different considerations than one destined for formal entertaining.
From there, we develop detailed drawings and wood samples. Production typically takes eight to twelve weeks, depending on complexity. Throughout, you receive updates and photographs as your piece takes shape.

We let our work speak for itself, but occasionally others have spoken on its behalf.
